ROCKET RACK supplied a customized selective pallet racking system for a building materials warehouse in Mexico. Each rack bay measures 2,300 × 800 × 4,050 mm and is designed for a load capacity of 2,500 kg per level.
The G+2 configuration provides three pallet storage levels, including the ground level, while maintaining direct access to every pallet position. This arrangement helps the customer organize heavy products and use the available warehouse height more effectively.
Building materials can vary considerably in weight, dimensions and handling frequency. The warehouse therefore required a heavy-duty racking system that could support high loads while keeping individual pallet positions directly accessible. The system also needed to create clear forklift aisles and provide a practical storage arrangement for daily warehouse operations.
ROCKET RACK developed a selective pallet racking configuration based on the customer’s product loads, warehouse conditions and required storage levels. The completed system uses blue upright frames and red load beams to create clearly defined storage positions.
Two elevated beam levels, together with the warehouse floor, provide three storage levels in total. Selective pallet racking was chosen because warehouse operators can access each pallet without first moving other stored goods.
| Rack type | Selective pallet racking |
|---|---|
| Bay size | L 2,300 × D 800 × H 4,050 mm |
| Rated capacity | 2,500 kg per level |
| Configuration | Ground level plus two beam levels |
| Application | Building materials storage |

The installed system combines high load capacity, direct pallet access and clearly arranged forklift aisles.
It is designed to support safer material handling and more organized warehouse operations.
